Splat is a needle felted bookmark

This splat is a black kitty. He is the perfect size for a paperback book with his back legs (with the cutest white paw prints) and tail poking out the back of the book.
A 1/2 splat is a full sized bookmark with just the front or back of the animal – this one is the back

The legs and tail are needle felted and then firmly felted onto a upcycled offcut of fleece
This guy took many many hours to create and is a one of a kind (the method of needle felting means each peice is different from the last)

This is one of my hottest items so the fotos are stock fotos of other black cat splats – each time I make one I try and make it even better than the last
