This is my depiction of Persephone and Hades. According to legend, Hades, the God of the Underworld kidnapped Persephone to be his bride. Whilst in captivity, Persephone ate some pomegranate seeds which resulted in winter every year.
Personally, I always thought that Persephone secretly loved Hades, and just ran away with him. For me, this is their misunderstood love story.
