This listing is for one headband from my “Neutral Paisley” collection. These headbands feature some sophisticated prints. (I list the fabrics from left to right to match the first pictures.) You can wear these headbands either really wide or scrunched up and some-what thin, in a boho fashion, or quite respectably for work! Round out your outfit with one of these stylish headbands.

My headbands are 4 1/2″ wide at the top (widest point), but you can wear them either fully flat or somewhat scrunched together to make them thinner. I use top quality 100% woven cotton, mostly quilter’s cotton to make my headbands with. I machine wash all of my fabric before making my headbands, so everything is pre-shrunk and able to be machine washed on warm.

Even if you’re not a “Headband Person” you might want to try one of these. It’s super fun to wear some of that chic quilting fabric as part of your wardrobe. My advice is to choose a color that you know looks good on you, since the wrong colors so near one’s face could wash you out : )

I make my headbands in five standard sizes (and I can always do custom as well!): The best way to determine your size is to measure around your head from the crown to the base of your neck–where the headband will rest (this will be the same as your hat size). Choose the size of headband closest to that measurement rounding up if you prefer a looser fit or rounding down if you prefer a more snug fit. My headbands fit lightly snug for these sizes with about half an inch of elastic stretching. Most people like the fit, but if your head is very sensitive, you should round up in size:

Child = 19″ head;
Small = 20″ head;
Medium = 21″ head;
Large = 22″ head;
Extra Large = 23″ head

If you already have headbands that fit you, you could always measure those and compare the sizes to mine:

Child measures 9 3/8″ from bottom of elastic to middle of the top so the circumference is 18 3/4″
Small measures 10″ from bottom of elastic to middle of the top so the circumference is 20″
Medium measures 10 1/4″ from bottom of elastic to middle of the top so the circumference is 20 1/2″
Large measures 10 3/4″ from bottom of elastic to middle of the top so the circumference is 21 1/2″
Extra Large measures 11 1/4″ from bottom of elastic to middle of the top so the circumference is 22 1/2″

Don’t like headbands this wide? I can easily make them thinner!–just let me know how wide you’d like i the notes of you order. One inch is the narrowest I can go. I can sometimes them a bit wider (if I have enough fabric on hand), be sure to shoot me a message first, as that depends on fabric availability. Unfortunately I can’t accommodate more than 7″ because gathering that much fabric is too thick for my machine and breaks my needles : (
