This is a set of two original, handmade cyanotype bookmarks, using Red Campion flowers and Elderflower collected from the British countryside. These beautiful and unique bookmarks are perfect for marking the page of your current read, whilst bringing a little bit of nature indoors! 🌿

~ Details ~

The bookmarks each measure approximately 2 x 5.5 inches, using medium-thickness paper that has been coated with UV-light sensitive chemicals (Potassium Ferricyanide and Ferric Ammonium Citrate) used for the cyanotype printing process. The leaves or flowers are placed over the top, then the paper is exposed to bright sunlight, set in water to wash the chemicals and left to dry naturally.

The cyanotype paper is mounted on card using double-sided tape to make the bookmark a little thicker.

~ Postage and Packaging ~

All of my cyanotypes are packaged in environmentally-friendly, biodegradable and compostable display sleeves (made from corn starch), and cardboard-backed envelopes for protection.

They will be posted using Royal Mail 1st Class to the UK, and Royal Mail International Standard everywhere else. If you would prefer International Tracked & Signed delivery, you can upgrade at checkout.

~ Please Note ~

Try not to expose the cyanotype to direct sunlight for long periods of time, as this may cause it to fade.

Due to the handmade nature of all of my cyanotypes, there may be small imperfections. This shows that they are unique!

The blue colour of the cyanotype may look slightly different to the colour shown on your computer or phone screen.
