Description

This iPad or tablet case is made with brown felt, lined with a contrasting white felt to help keep your tech safe.

It is closed with a type of Velcro designed to be used on delicate fabrics that snare easily. By using this it avoids any metal or plastic elements coming in contact with your tech eliminating the danger of scratches.

I have decorated the case front with upcycled ‘fuzzy felt’, in this case a dinosaur/monster with a green body, purple arms and legs (these look blue in the photos) and an orange head, a tree and a bush. I have added a felt eye so there are no small parts for children but I can sew on a button eye at no additional cost, just message me with your preferred colour of eye, I have 100s of buttons so should have something suitable in most colours.

I have gone over all seams with a large zigzag stitch to bind the 2 layer of felt together. I have then done a row of stitch 8mm along the sides to make the envelope for your tech to slip into. To ensure extra strength and so the felt doesn’t pull out of shape on the sides, I have then zigzagged over the 4 layers of felt.

The back of the case is plain.

The overall closed size is 26 x 21cm.

The inside of the case measures 24cm x 21.
