Vintage Upcycled KITSCH JESUS BOOKEND

FACT AND FICTION:

FACT: Found, one adorable hand made bookend, probably made for Mom by a 7th grader in Wood Shop 101, mid 70’s. This sat in my studio for a few years until the perfect thing came along: a vintage kitsch Jesus child ware medallion.
I glued them together and here you have it.

FICTION: Tommy loved his mom best and then Jesus, so this project in Wood Shop 101 made perfect sense to him. He took a lot of flack from the guys but with mom and Jesus in his corner, he could handle it.
